Beer Quest is a simple application for recording and rating beers. The application stores your beers in an offline database and can produce stats on your highest rated, lowest rated and favourite beers.
***NEW*** For version 188.8.131.52
It can also share any beers you want onto your Facebook time line should you want to.
The application opens into a list of your beers - on first use this will be empty so you can use the 'plus' app button to add a new beer in from scratch.
When you add a beer or edit an existing one (done be clicking a beer on the initial page list) you will be taken to page where you can amend the beer information. Facets of the beer such as brewery, style and country of origin can all be selected from lists. If there is no matching brewery then navigate to the top of the list (#) and choose 'enter new brewery'. You should then be able to free text the brewery name on the update page. Style and country are fixed lists and cannot be amended.
On the start page you can also increase or decrease the number of beers drank - these are the plus and minus buttons in that accompany each beer. you can also choose to view stats where you will be taken to a page that lists your top 25 rated, your lowest 25 and finally your favourites.
A favourite beer doesn't have to be the highest rated and it is set in the beer create/edit page by clicking the 'Add Favourite' button on the top right. When these are displayed in the stats page, there is no limit on the number that will show and any notes associated with the beer will be displayed.
The main page has a menu option that will allow you to use a pre-filled list of beers. When the menu option is pressed, lists of any available collections will be shown - initially the app is shipping with the beers that are listed for Beer On The Wye.
Feel free to enjoy this app and look out for more collections and functionality in the future
