Dial2Web application is a revolutionary internet address enabler.
The Dial2Web application uses patent pending 226037 to allow a smartphone user to dial a short number which opens a certain web site instead of initiating a voice phone call.
The user has to type two asterisks (**) followed by a short code in the phone’s dialing pad and then to hit the “dial” button.
The Dial2Web application identifies the user intention to open an internet site rather than to initiate a voice phone call. The application blocks the voice phone call and opens the phone’s browser with the corresponding web site.
For example, if the user types **555 in the dialing pad, the www.google.com web site will be opened. The user may also save the **555 “phone number” as a contact name “Google”.
