In the smart alarm clock mode, the phone monitors your sleep from your night table, without having it in your bed. It uses ultrasound signals to detect sleep movements. During a light sleep stage there are certain types of movements and the alarm is played when corresponding movement is detected. This must happen during an activation time window which is configured inside the app, starting up to one hour before your latest wake up time. If you are in deep sleep, the alarm is played at the end of the activation window. You will find out that you feel more refreshed when are woken up during a light sleep phase, even though you get up a bit earlier. You can also choose a passive detection mode that detects sleep time movements by receiving audible sound signals.
It's proven that short breathing relaxation sessions reduce stress, improve productivity and help to fall asleep. You can have a relaxation session anywhere you want to, e.g. on the train, in a park or at work. To start a session, set duration and guidance modes (visual/sound/vibration). You can also make the session to slow down little by little to achieve a meditative experience.
