It has connectivity to go-Overland.co.uk waypoints database , containing more than ten million expedition-related waypoints such as campings , embassies , hotels , borderposts etc. Also there is the possibilty to upload and download tracks "over the air" , with no need to use cables or install software on other computers , -as It may be needed while travelling to less developed areas- . It allows direct downloading of tracks , and waypoints around your position by just simply pressing a button. Overland also has a service that shows you the headlines of the most important news on the part of the world you are in (or you are panning to) . This service can be of extreme importance when travelling to volatile areas . It includes also a easy to use petrol computer that informs you of the area within your reach , given the estimated fuel remaining . Of course , Overland also includes all the features you would expect in a dedicated GPS unit such as longitude/latitude/ waypoints / tracks , etc. etc.
All the data stored ( tracks / waypoints ,etc ) on the device can be uploaded over the air -again no need of connecting your android device - .
