FACT: Florida’s inspection standards are set low. Recently, a restaurant with 26 violations and an EMERGENCY SHUT DOWN ORDER was allowed to open later that day after fixing only 3 violations, plus, it was given a “Met Inspection Standards” rating!
We exclude restaurants with histories that contain high priority (critical) violations including those with:
*Rodents and insects!
*Employees- improper hand-washing training/equipment!
*Cross-contamination of raw meat with other foods!
*Hazardous food temperatures!
*Haphazard storage of toxic chemicals over or near food!
*Have had an Emergency Shut Down! Or Warning!
*and other high priority (critical) violations
